Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) is a high build intermediate / finishing paint using the lamellar shape of the iron oxide to greatly enhance the barrier protection. It is a quick drying alkyd based paint pigmented with micaceous iron oxide and inert pigments.

Build Zinc Phosphate Primer. This type of coating is often specified when long life systems are required e.g exterior structural steel, off-shore installations, harbour installations, bridges etc.

Volume Solids: 56% approx.
Film thickness: 107 –178 μm WFT / 60 - 100μm DFT
Practical coverage: 5.0m2/litre - 9.0m2/litre depending on film thickness specification
