All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, oil or any loose or flaking material.
Sealing/Priming: It is only necessary to seal a porous surface such as new or bare concrete. The addition of 10% white spirit
will provide a suitable sealer coat. New concrete floors can only be painted after being allowed to dry out and cure for several months.
Floors that are finished by power floating will require either chemical treatment or mechanical abrasion before being painted.
